Located in downtown Raleigh, the Red Hat Amphitheater opened on June 4, 2010. It seats 5,000 and it's season currently runs from April to October. Concert-goers have the option of sitting in any of the 7 sections, box seats, or on the lawn. In the image below, the red dots indicate the VIP box seating.

Walnut Creek
Walnut Creek Amphitheater is an outdoor venue that hosts large concerts in Raleigh. It is part of a 77-acre complex located on the west bank of Walnut Creek. It opened on July 4, 1991. Seating capacity is about 6,847, which includes half under cover. The lawn can accommodate another 13,653. Concert-goers have the option of sitting in any of the 9 sections, VIP boxes, VIP club seats, or on the lawn. In the image below, the red areas indicate the VIP boxes and the club seats. Club seats are movie-theater style, cushioned seats that have extra leg room for standing up and dancing. They are located in the back rows of sections 1,2, and 3.
